Team Evanston Coaching Staff 2021-2022
Team Evanston has a professionally licensed coaching staff with decades of experience developing players at all levels. All our coaches were former players themselves including some former professional players. Our coaching experience extends from an academy level abroad to the youngest ages in the US. Our coaches have coaching experience on five continents and professional playing experience in the US, Europe, and South America.
Team Evanston's leadership includes Senad Hot (Director U9-U19), and Stuart Mattison (Director, Pre-Travel and U8). Ryan C. French is the Executive Director (Team Evanston and CFJ North Shore). Josha Kruvand is the Club Administrator.
Training & Development
- Annual Fire Juniors coach training and orientation
- All coaches are professionally certified to coach at the youth levels
- All coaches follow our technical curriculum guidelines developed by the Chicago Fire Academy
- All coaches are trained certified by Safe Sport on player misconduct and the CDC for concussion awareness
Player safety is our top priority
- Heads-Up Concussion Certification →
All Team Evanston Coaches are required to complete the Heads-Up concussion certification for injury prevention, awareness, and reporting. - Safe Sport Certification →
All Team Evanston coaches are required to go through Safe Sport; an Education and awareness training for creating safe and respectful sporting environments, free of abuse and harassment.
