Soccer Tennis Saturdays

Soccer Tennis, sometimes called Soccer Volley, has become a popular game for players as it is both fun to play and competitive. Like tennis, Soccer Tennis Saturdays will have small soccer tennis courts set-up on grass where players can play in 1v1 or in small groups. These games are start with a player serving the ball over the soccer tennis net to their opponents. Each team has a maximum amount of touches to get the ball back across the net without it touching the ground. The game is challenges players first touch, ball control from the air, and technical coordination. Most of all, Soccer Tennis is fun!

Each session will consist of a micro-tournament. Players will first warm-up, train technique for 10 minutes, and then play an in-house competition. Please note, that we intend this to be technically beneficial and fun! The competition will be like that of in a training session where the coach overseas several games at once. Specific referees for each match will not be employed and there no trophies or medals. Rules will be reviewed and taught at each session.

Coach Chris will run Soccer Tennis Saturdays. Team Evanston players will play 1v1 and CFJ North Shore teams will play 2v2.
